Are the Cards three outs away from losing nine in a row? Man oh man.

 

And this Carlos Marmol kid is going to torture us for the next decade in a Cub uniform.

 

On the bright side, it's all about the loss column, and that number won't change (one behind) with a Cubs win.

 

How many warning track flies have the Cards hit? Sheesh, this is ridiculous.

yep, no first place tie today, but we can at least gain a half game back tonight. Of course, Suppan needs to do the job and so the 9-game losing streak Cardinals.

 

Isn't this 2 years in a row that the Cards have had a long losing streak as the season was ending?

If this season ends badly for Brewer fans, and the Cubs sweep this thing tonight, it won't be too far fetched to simply look at the double headers in St Louis. The Brewers blew a big lead on the front end of theirs, and went south from there. Meanwhile, the Cubs have lately been winning the types of games the Brewers have found creative ways to lose.

If the brewers win and the Cubs loose tonight, the brewers would pick up half a game. So lets go Cardinals!

 

Wouldnt it be 1 full game? 2 games back now...they lose we win. Only 1 game back. Or did I just miss something.

The Cubs played a doubleheader today. So, if we win, and the Cubs lose the night game, we would pick up 1/2 game.
