Feeling slightly Yosted...if he wanted to bring in a lefty why not Shouse, I'm sure he might be worried about him being a bit rusty, but the way he's been this year I take that chance over a callup in a close game that we need.

The problem is, Capuano is a lefty and finally put together a great outing, not sure why he got taken out in the first place, unless Ned made the lineup changes more complicated than they needed to be?

I'll come to stetter's defense. If Hart/Gross don't misplay that fly ball, there would be two outs and a guy on second.

It's not the pitching, it the defense a lot. Our defense is horrible at every position.

What? They didn't misplay that. It was hit to the freakin' wall.

Umm.. my guess would be probably because of the leftys coming up, im just throwing a guess out there. If he goes 1-2-3 no one is crying about it, he didnt get the job down, stop blaming Yost for EVERYTHING.
So why didn't he go with Shouse?

bhf...Stetter was pitching in AA before his call up. Come on. Anyone would have told you he was going to suck.

he's pitched 28 games this season, 24 of them have been for Nashville, that isn't AA, plus, he just came off of pitching awesome in Pittsburgh, how can you call this Yosted when his pitcher gave up one run, that is not Yost's fault, are you kidding me?

That ball was very playable too.

I think Hirschbeck knew he screwed up, because I don't see any other way Ned stays in the game after that argument.

No, Hirschbeck has been to a few rodeos. Yost wants to get ran. Yost knows the fans and players could get a boost from it. Hirschbeck knows this

and doesn't care to oblige Ned.

Generally speaking if Yost gets his player saved, it's a good thing, otherwise it's grandstanding.

Just curious (since I am not watching) was Capuano laboring at all? Becuase with lefties coming up and the pitcher spot due up this inning I figured that Cappy would pitch another inning. I imagine that Cappy looks like he had his day, or Yost overthought the decision. Either way, we need 3 runs ... NOW

Yeah, and I think Hart slammed it down in frustration after it came back off the wall because he knew they miscommunicated. They both seemed to give up on it thinking the other was going to get it.

Yosted

that is a joke right, this one is all on the players.

well, half joking. Sheets pitched bad, the hitters well, didn't hit. but no way I bring in stetter instead of shouse. If they don't come back its not going to matter anyway. Did Yost cost us this game? no way.
