Meanwhile, I'm watching game 1 of the Texas/Detroit doubleheader and got to see Jose Capellan serve up 3 bombs in the Rangers 5th. Ouch.

Jose Capellan got owned today in the first game of a day/night doubleheader: 1.2 IP, 4 hits, 1 walk, 5 runs, 2 K, 3 HR.

Top of the 8th, man on 2nd, one out for the Cubs. Astros are intentionally walking Daryle Ward to setup the double play with Soriano, Theriot, and Lee coming up.

 

I don't think this is going to go well.

 

EDIT: Ok, I was wrong. Soriano and Theriot had one-pitch outs. Come on Astros, letusgogogogogo!

Not really. With four games coming up against Chicago and three against Milwaukee, they still have a chance to catch up. They aren't in "good" shape by any means, but they aren't screwed quite yet.
