did I hear Uecker correctly that this was the first time in baseball history that a game has started with 3 homers? I thought the Padres did something like that in the late 80s or so.

They are the first to do it in the top of the first inning and the third team to ever hit back to back to back homers (others were bottom of first):

 

The Brewers became the first team in big league history to lead off the top of the first inning with three consecutive home runs, but two other teams -- the 1987 Padres and the 2003 Braves -- have done it in the bottom of the first inning.

It's only the 5th time in Brewer history they have hit at least 6 HR in a game:

4/29/80 - 14-1 win at Cleveland - Bando 2, Oglivie 2, Molitor, Lezcano, Hisle

 

 

It's the 4th time in Brewer history they've hit 200 HR in a season. They need 15 to tie the 1982 Brewers at 216. In 1980 they hit 203 and in 2001 they hit 209.
