Subway (Eat Fresh)

PlayerHader

So what do you all have? I been getting the same thing every time forever it seems. What's everyone else get?

Give me a roasted chicken breast,

American cheese,

lettuce,

onions,

pickels,

banana peppers,

a little mayo and

a little honey mustard.

Anyone go with the veggie? What you get on that?

OOPS...forgot to add the bread. Wheat or hearty Italian usually.

My wife is a vegetarian, who ironically despises vegetables.

How is this even possible?http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/laugh.gif

And the "sandwich" you describe that she gets sounds gross.

I usually get a toasted footlong roast chicken on herb and cheese with american cheese, lettuce, onion, green pepper, cucumber, tomatoes, mayo, and salt and pepper.

Recently I've been getting a toasted footlong subway melt on herb and cheese with pretty much the same toppings, although sometimes I get the shredded cheese instead of the american and ranch instead of mayo.

Ok everyone listen. For the sauce, get ranch and southwest. It's the greatest combo ever. Any sub.

Itailian herbs and cheese

Subway melt

Pepperjack cheese

toasted

lettuce

bell pepper

banana pepper

parmesan cheese

ranch

southwest chipotle

so amazing.

ranch and southwest. always remember.

now for the drunk thread

Before I became a vegetarian, I alternated between the chicken breast, club, and tuna salad. Almost always with cheddar, lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, green peppers, chipotle and Parmesan, and almost always on honey oat or wheat.

I don't like the way the Subway veggie sub tastes for some reason, so I've abandoned them. The Jimmy John's #6 (vegetarian) is super good. Heaps of avocado and provolone.

My Subway:

Footlong turkey on wheat, no cheese

Lettuce

Cucumbers

Onions

Green Peppers

A few pickles

Lots of hot peppers

Light mayo

I do enjoy Cousins as well though, but I get a hot sandwich (Philly) there.

I am a Subway-a-holic.

Footlong Veggie Max

Provolone Cheese

Lettuce

Green Peppers

Lots and Lots of Jalapeno Peppers

and

a Cheese Pizza with Jalapeno Peppers

Point Beer is Better, if you go to Subway with your wife ask them if the have the Veggie Max, or Veggie Patty not all stores have it, but for vegitarians its great. A bunch of stores have it but don't have it on the menu. I don't know how knowledgable you or your wife are to veggie products but it really is alot like the Moringstar Farms Veggie Patty (ground veggies). Im a really picky eater and a vegitarian and I love it.

The only thing I will eat at Subway is a footlong meatball...any bread...mozz, black olives, parm, oregano...

I worked at a Subway in Minneapolis when I was in school the first time, so I try to avoid it whenever possible, I saw too much.

I agree. I like Jimmy Johns and Milios better than Subway. I can understand as a meat-eater why subway is great, but it doesn't give as many vegetarian options as the others. Some meat-eaters might have a hard time understanding why a place like Subway, where you can pick all your toppings doesn't give as many options, but it's the type of options.

Anyway, when I eat at Subway (which is somewhat often since my significant other looooves it) I usually get:

Italian herb and cheese (bestest bread they got)

cheddar (maybe another cheese, provolone or mozz)

lettuce

tom

a little banana peppers

red onion

cucs

spinach (sometimes, not often)

mayo

a little honey mustard

oil and vinegar

oregano (sometimes)

parm and pepper (sometimes)

Most people in the service industry say this about the place they work. If you truly believe this, then you wouldn't ever go out to eat.

My problems with Subway were more about the quality of the materials. I have chosen not to abandon the entire restaurant industry because of one crappy fast food place. Really no need to try to pull deeper meaning out of my quote than what was there. I have worked at other restaurants that had higher standards for their products, these are the places I tend to frequent. I avoid fast food whenever possible.
