While seeing Zambrano getting plunked would be kind of funny, you wouldn't even have to hit him to get inside his head -- you could just throw something close to hitting him, and he'd probably come out the next inning and give up 5 runs. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

 

Cabrera is definitely one of the more cocky players in the league, but doesn't get that much attention since he plays in Florida...if he played for the Mets, his antics would be getting a helluva lot more exposure. The fact that he's gotten to be so lazy despite having so much talent also kind of annoys me -- he's gotten so fat that he's probably taken a couple years off the end of his career.

Logan, I think what has prevented Cra-Z from being beaned is that the retribution would almost certainly be your SP getting drilled, which obviously no one wants. That's just my 2 cents, though

IMO, the biggest danger in plunking Zambrano is that he would use it as motivation to pitch better (as the sort of machismo thing that he seems to feed on).

I'd rather plunk Ramirez, Soriano, or Lee as a proxy for Zambrano; at least that might lead to someone on his own team suggesting he tone down the antics.
