Greetings from Ireland!

don1481

Hi all!

I am presently sitting here in Ireland (on dialup no less - I feel your pain, Hawing) checking in on my beloved Brewers. I see that they've traded for Ray King... hopefully that will help the pen. Anyways - my Brewer Beard is starting to come in... hopefully that will help things.

I will see you soon!

Kidding (sort of!), and hope your time on the Isle of Erin are as enjoyable & memorable as mine were!

Try not to miss the Cliffs of Moher, either. A tad 'touristy', but totally worth the experience. Beware the vertigo, though!

sbrylski06 hit it on the head - I'm in Cork County in Cloyne. Saw Angela Lansbury's house the other day. To Gougane Barra (look it up - it's beautiful) for Brooke's sister's wedding tomorrow through Monday!

Hmm... now we're tied again for first I see. Interesting...

I loved Ireland. I was there a few years ago for business. The people there were so friendly and the country is beautiful.

I really enjoyed watching Gaelic football (much better than soccer) and hurling.

Ooooh - Hurling! I watched the All-Ireland final with Brooke's brother in law the Saturday we got there (the team he was pulling for - Limerick - lost, so he was pretty grumpy about that), and we saw him play last Friday. It's a fun time.

Yes, I went touristy and kissed the Blarney Stone.

But I'm back now and I see the Brewers are playing better baseball. Minus the whole "Let's throw in Stetter" decision, of course...

I didn't see enough sports when I was in Great Britian. I wanted to see a gaelic football game.

I also kissed the Blarney Stone. You have to hang half your body over the ledge like 7 stories up just to reach it. Scary!
