College Football is back baby!

I am suprised to see that no one has posted a lick about the new college football season beginning!

 

I believe the Badgers are going to make it to a BCS bowl this year. There's a good possibility of a Rose Bowl appearance too. This team is being overlooked by a lot of media outlets.... 18 returning starters from a 12-1 team. If USC, Michigan, Auburn or some other SEC squad had the same amount returning, the national media would be drooling over them.

The Big Ten: Wisconsin

National Title: LSU

I really like the Badgers this year, and an undefeated season in the Big Ten is by no means impossible, but I see them dropping 1, even 2 games. People are concentrating on the Michigan home game and the Ohio St. road game, but I dont hear enough people mentioning their road game in the Happy Valley. I have a feeling they may lose that game, and 1 against either Ohio St or Michigan.

What sucks is that despite Johnny Clay being given academic clearance by the NCAA, he still may sit out his freshman anyway as a redshirt. My brother was his high school teacher and knows what really happened when the NCAA had to spend time looking at his record. Apparently there was a discrepancy about his English grades that kind of messed up his GPA. He got a grade lower than what was needed to get into UW. He had to take some summer courses to get back on track.

I am probably in the minority here, but I am a Notre Dame fan. GO IRISH! I have followed them since I was nine years old in 1991 when they went to the Orange Bowl.
