Why can't I see Who's Online, etc.?

The mysterious outage thing last night must've done that. It should be back now.

Who's Online can be toggled on and off by those who have administrative access to the forums. James (ransom) probably toggled it off in the process of getting the site going again last night.

 

While none of us on the Brewerfan end have ever tried doing this, I've seen the suggestion that temporarily turning off Who's Online may help during periods of Yuku slowness. If it disappears another time, one of us may be trying to see if that suggestion helps.

 

It's certainly a very useful feature that we want on all the time, though, unless turning it off temporarily gains us an advantage when the servers are slow.
