Count down to 82 wins

I can't believe I had to wait this many days to post! I'm pretty sure it's my fault. I had this one dialed up in the 7th inning of the Philly game.

I take full responsibility for the recent slide.

I can share that responsibility. I was doing the same thing. Blame hawing, too. It looks like she was set and ready to post.

The same thing happened the previous Sunday (the game that preceded the no-IGT day). I was all set to post before the Brewers blew the game.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

By the way, Don Sutton wore both #20 and #21 for the Brewers. He went to his preferred #20 when Gorman Thomas was traded to the Indians.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

Rick Auerbach? You oughta be ashamed, Casey.
I tried to find a picture of Bob Burda, the only other Brewer player to wear number 19.

The problem was that he was acquired in June, 1970, and traded in February, 1971. That's not good timing for producing a baseball card in a Brewers uniform.

I could find pictures of him as a Giant, but that wouldn't have been right. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
