Help with 2003 Blue Paul Molitor

Warriors76
I got this bobble in the mail today, and his head is tilted back, like, way back...I'm wondering if this is common, how the doll was made, or if I should be pissed at the seller. I looked at BillyHallFan's pics and it looks a little titled, but does anyone have a profile shot of this bobblehead, cus it doesn't look right, and I paid a lot of money for this.

I have one of the blue one's and, if I remember right, it is slightly tilted as well. I think this was due to the crappy packaging the bobbleheads were put in. In your case though, it sounds like I would be a little upset too. Did the seller mention this in the description at all?

mine are tilted back. You can't get mad at sellers for that because that is how they got the bobble, that is just the risks that you take with bobble collecting. Some bobbles have bad paint jobs, others have cocky springs, that is just the way they are. And more importantly since the Brewers bobbleheads are manufactured by BD&A they are sometimes made very cheaply, if they were made by destroyer or AGP, most likely, problems like this wouldn't occur.

no, there is nothing wrong with that at all, there are not many bobbleheads that you can buy off people that are in mint condition, it is rare to get one from the stadium in mint condition, with as rare as that bobble is, the head being tilted, really makes no difference in terms of value.

just curious, how much did you spend on it?

I've got a bobble or two that tilt back like that. No biggie.

For display purposes I just wedge a wad of cotton about the size of a cigarette butt under the back of the head so he'll look straight ahead.

I still think that seller should have at least mentioned the tilted head. It really isn't a big deal that it is tilted. I ended up "fixing" mine by tilting it the other way when I put it in the box and now it looks normal. Using something to wedge behind the head is definitely a good idea.
