A Astro fan at minute maid park last night got down a one knee and asked his girlfriend to marry him, and didn't get the answer he was looking for, when he asked her to marry him she got mad and dumped popcorn on his head and stormed off and the crowd booed her, when he left a inning later the crowd cheer him.

And that's why you shouldn't do a marriage proposal in the public spotlight like that. Good for her for not just going along with it to make the crowd happy.

I remember this happened at a Washington Wizards game a couple of years back, but as it turned out it was completely staged. The cynic in me says that this one was too..but who knows.

I remember the Wizards one too, and that screamed staged to me because it was on the court, which never happens. If it was in the stands, I think it has a bit more chance at legitimacy.

Lets be honest, for most women that though of being proposed to at a baseball game is not exactly appealing. My wife probably would have been pissed if I asked her in the middle of a game. Of course part of that would be due to me paying more attention to the game and not to the fact that I asked her to marry me
