Geoff Jenkins Countdown - other Brewer records

aracko

1. Ryan Braun is withing slapping distance of Paul Molitor's highest batting average record set in 1987 of .353.

2. Prince has a chance at Robins all time record of Extra base hits at 87. Yount set the record in 1982.

3. Braun has a very good chance to beat Paul Molitor's OPS record (1.003) which was set in 1987.

4. Both Braun and Prince are on pace to beat Jenkins' SLG% record.

5. Jenkins is 41 HRs away from becoming the ALL TIME BREWERS HOME RUN LEADER. I gotta think that this comes into account when the time is up to resign him.

Most impressive is the fact that he has done it in almost 1/3 of the ABs.

Didn't Cooper hit like .357 in 1980?
"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006
