IGT 8/17 Reds (Arroyo 5-13 5.63 ERA) at Brewers (Suppan 8-10 4.90 ERA) 7:05pm

BrewCrewForever

Well I thought I would start a IGT, I don't think I have all year. Maybe I will be good luck and snap the Crew out of this slide, we will see I guess. Its Suppan against Arroyo, lets hope we get the good Supp on a retro Friday at Miller Park. It is Harvey Kuenn bobblehead night, maybe Harvey can bring some positive mojo to the Brewers tonight.

Please woogie come back! We need you doing the IGT's!

BrewCrewIn2004... that is what this is starting to feel like.

Please Brewers, don't suck tonight. Pretty please with sugar, ice cream, sprinkles, cherries, and whipped cream on top. And if you do, I'm selling the rest of my tickets - or more likely yet - giving them away.

Wow...I didn't realize Bronson Arroyo has been that bad this year.

"Bronson Arroyo gets the nod tonight for the Reds and he is 5-13 with a 4.63 earned run average in 25 starts this season. Arroyo owns a 1-3 mark in his last five outings and was beaten by San Diego on Sunday. He gave up five runs and nine hits in six frames of a 10-4 loss to the Padres. Arroyo, who is 2-9 in 13 road starts in 2007, is 4-3 with a 3.56 ERA in 10 career games (seven starts) against Milwaukee."

The 2004 Crew was 6-21 in August. That's uglier than our 4-10 August. Please, no more

"The Cubs are going to win likely today. If the Brewers lose, we will officially be in second place. The Cubs will have officially gotten over the hump and been in first place meaningfully for the first time this year."

The Cubs have beaten the Cardinals. How Howry and Dempster can hold a 1-run lead against the Cards but Turnbow and Cordero can't, who knows. The good news is that the Cardinals 5-game winning streak is over.
