I have the brochure in front of me and it says;

"While we were able to assign comparable locations for the 2007 Postseason, please keep in mind that for future Postseasons we will be unable to gurantee seating locations for Partial-Plan Accounts."

I don't interpret that at all as to saying we won't get playoff tickets, rather, you may have to move to new price point section. Meaning my tickets are in the $33 Field Outfield Box, and thus this year my playoff tickets are as well, though in a different section. I got moved from 126 to 108, which is a bit of a downgrade in location, which I think is important to note. What I imagine happens is MLB takes up a bunch of the great seats behind the plate/dugout/etc, and then full season ticket holders start bumping people with partial plans backwards, in an effort to try to keep the best seats possible for each group. But if there's a surge of full season packs bought next year then, that's more people to bump, so someone like me who was bumped all the way to 108 this year, might end up getting bumped to a lower price point ticket section next postseason.

Seems to make sense to me and isn't anything to be alarmed about.

i know hawing, the way I see that they are screwing the 20 pack holders, so next year, if we renew our 20 pack, we probably won't get playoff tickets, which is BS IMO

Billyhallfan, no where does it say you won't get playoff tickets in future years. Your location might change but that is it. You will still have the option for playoff tickets if you are a 20 game holder.

finally got our 20-seat playoff folder today. Our total comes in at a bit over $1900. Perhaps because we have preferred parking it is more than other Terrace Box people here?

At least the seats were "upgraded" from section 421 row 6 (the normal location) to section 420 row 1!

What about nine pack people? What was your offer? You were suppose to get tickets for the first two rounds. Does anyone know what happened there? As I stated earlier, we upgraded 2 of our 5 "9 pack seats" to a 20 Gamer and we were only "offered" a complete playoff stub on two seats that our 20-Pack had. I wouldn't be interested in buying more tickets for my 9 pack seats, but just wondering if any 9-packers got the short end of the playoff stick?

I wouldn't think you're getting the short end of the stick, but maybe they're waiting to finalize that until after the 20 packs are in. I know that was the commitment to the 9packs, and I don't see any reason they wouldn't be honoring that. You can probably call your account rep to know when that may be going out.

I'm going to guess that the 9/10 game customers will be contacted after the 20-to-full season customers have their chance. You could probably call your ticket rep to find out for sure.

I think the only way 20 game customers will be 'screwed' entirely out of future postseasons is if there is a big enough increase in full-season customers. A successful 2007 is almost bound to bring a jump in season ticket customers, but they may not all be full-season.

As an aside: does the half-season package still exist? I never see it among our renewal options, but I sometimes see references to it. I'd consider a 40 game package if it were still available, if for no other reason to have a bit of flexibility in the games we attend. Full season is still a bit much for our distance from Milwaukee.

Pitchleague, the preferred parking probably is the difference between your bill and ours. We have never opted for preferred parking, and this year (for the first time) bought $7 general parking in advance.

And not to rip on your Postseason location, but TB row 1 for me is obstructed by the railing. Even row 2 is a problem for me because most people in row 1 lean forward to see over the railing, thus blocking my view. That's why we sit a little farther back/up in our section. If the Brewers advance and we are sitting in row 3, maybe I'll bring a booster seat. http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/happy.gif

I know 9 game seat holders only get one game in the first and second round but I thought I read (probably online, I can't remember and therefore can't confirm) that 9 game seat holders do not get to choose what game you can attend. I though I read that only a possible 3rd home game in the first round would be available for 9 gamers. But that would assume we have home field advantage in the first round. Would that mean you get shut out otherwise? I don't know.

I'm sending in my invoice this week, but I don't want to pay for preferred parking (or any parking for that matter), which I bought with my season tickets. I'll park in Wauwatosa and walk. I need that $212 to put towards the tickets themselves

Hawing, I have friends who have the 40 game pack, it's basically just 2 20 packs combined. I recall hearing once that if you get 20 or more, you can basically get any number you want...38, 55, whatever. They will package something for you as long as you get 20+. This was about 3+ years ago, so maybe they've stopped being quite this easy going, but they'll work with you.

thanks for that tip, hawing. I was actually curious about that. Hopefully, it'll be a non-issue because the crowd will be standing so much.

What I don't particularly care for is if the Brewers don't make the playoffs, I'm going to be charged about $1800 on September 7th which I will either have to pay off on my credit card or get hit with an interest penalty since the refund won't be for weeks after the end of the season. I don't want to have an $1800 credit on my card after I pay it off and then get a refund. Let's just make the playoffs so I don't have to deal with that.

well I'm already in terrace resv., where are they going to move me too?

Nobody is guaranteeing you're going to be moved. But nobody is saying you won't either. I think we've already seen that people on the terrace level have kept about their same location this year, or even gotten better locations.

I think they may move you to the roof :-)

Anyway, about the whole "not gaurenteeing your seat location for next year" thing i think that they have that for two reasons

1. They did it as a market ploy - some fans are bound to take it as they won't get seats for next year, and they will buy tickets this year when they might not have otherwise

2. They don't know for sure exactly how many more full season ticket holders there will be, but if there is enough they will have to start to move 20 game packs even further away (like putting billyhallfan on the roof). It probably goes by seniority, the longer you've been with the brewers the less likely your seats are going to be moved.

That's probably true which kind of irks me, but only in my own selfish way. I first got season tickets well over a decade ago. I initially got them to be "on the list" for opening day tickets at new Brewers Ballpark (later know as Miller Park). After years and years of waiting for the place to get built, I dropped my package.

Then I picked them up again to "get on the list" for all star game tickets only to be told partial ticket holders would get shut out, only full season seat holders would get a chance. I dropped my package again. (Of course the Brewers changed their mind, but it was to late for me.)

Of course I have tickets again, but my seniority level is so low it makes me sad. I asked my rep about this once and he gave me a sympathetic laugh and said "sorry, nothing we can do about that" Oh well what can you do.

  • 2 weeks later...

anybody order their playoff strips online (brewers.com)?

I can't seem to get in to do it. I've gone to the "tickets" link, like the invoice says but where do I "log in" with my password?

In ticket replay? That's the only place that I could find on the site to "log in" on the ticket page.

If I have to fax it I guess I'll fax it, but that's ridiculous that it's not very user friendly to find the link and use by "secret playoff password".

Thanks for any help.

We ordered online, during game one of the cubs series last week. I believed I was making a statement by timing it then. http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/eyes.gif

But we had a devil of a time finding the right place. I think we had to log in via 'replay.' It didn't make sense until we were in and they had a postseason "renewal" entry there. It's for the DS and CS series + parking + the whole shipping/handling.

Then over last weekend, I emailed our ticket rep to make sure it went through. He was nice enough to humor me and confirm it.

If I have time later today to poke around I'll see if I can find the exact sequence. No guarantees during the first week of school, though.

On the home page of brewers.com, in the center of the page, on the left hand side there is a box labeled "ticket center" In that box, there is an option for "postseason payment". Click on that and it takes you to the log in screen. The remainder is pretty much self explanatory.

User in-game thread post in 1st inning of 3rd game of the 2022 season: "This team stinks"

Man, what a bad system. Logging into Replay or through the Ticket Center as Patrick pointed out, I get taken to a screen that says I need to update my account information with my address, phone, etc, which they already have, but whatever. But then it says that I need to have a rep do that, and I can't select any of the boxes. What's the point of taking me to a page that tells me to do something you won't allow me to do? And if you can't let me do it, it doesn't say much for the security of the system.

Ugh. Guess I'll just have to fax this in. Annoying.
