Why is Bill Hall escaping our collective wrath?

It's almost as if Billy read this thread and decided to try to appease some people tonight.

It's tough, but sometimes I have to call guys out, just to motivate them.

Hall escapes wrath because compared to Weeks he's having an MVP season. There's a lot of other guys who for two months or more have done very little. Included in that list is Corey Hart who since the All Star game is hitting .224/.270/.480.

Because every hitter has a bad month or two. Hall just hasn't had a good one yet.

Hall Love started to increase with the Pink Bat homerun and then his other late game homeruns last year, a very average player has a career year and people went nuts

So if we can expect him to hit at 2005 levels (.291/.342/.495) which is way above average for a SS or a CF, then he is most definitely struggling as bad as people think he is (.261/.324/.422)

If he can back to those numbers he would be ok, he is not going to play SS and if his defense doens't get better he becomes an average CFEr Hall was being called an up and coming all star on this site and part of a bright future. Well finally hitting his 10th HR last night does not make him look like an all star. If he got to his 2005 numbers next year I would be impressed.
