Need to cancel a flight

Does anyone know of any loop holes in canceling a bulk fare flight on Midwest?

I booked a flight on expedia a couple months ago expecting to go out to phoenix for the brewer games, but something came up and I can not go. However both midwest and expedia says I can not cancel or change my flight. I am sure this is the case but I am hoping there is a way around this so I am not out the $200.

Any help would be much appreciated. I am sure its a lost cause but it never hurts to ask!

call the airline, as they should be able to cancel it. I'd assume they would deduct a cancelling fee, then issue a voucher for the remainder. I'd estimate the cancellation fee at around $90-110, meaning you'd end up with a voucher of around $100

I think that's only if you book through Midwest and get a clearance fare. If you use sites like expedia and take the "cheapest" flight available, there is generally a zero tolerance for cancellations. It's worth a shot to call Midwest, but I doubt anything will happen with the purchase coming through Expedia. Good luck.

Tell them you are going with Tran Air and see if they allow you to take a credit or something. :P

Usually there is a $50 reschedule fee. So you could go that route.
