Iron Eagle voted 2nd best worst movie of all time, and the other 12 as well.

The Kentucky Fried Movie. I was 12 or 13 when we rented it because somehow it was PG-13... being a horny teenager I thought this was the greatest movie I'd ever seen.

Gary Busey: "I like my meat rare!"

Ice-T: (throws him into the burning lodge full of explosives) "Try well done, b****!"

They should have just canceled the Oscars that year since it should have swept them all. And Busey's story about how he got his scar was fantastic.

I am just glad my favorite movie of all time didn't show up on any of these lists...Cabin Boy.

Commando always does it for me. That would mos def be in my midnight movie rotation

Cindy: Can you tell me what this is all about?

Matrix: Yeah, a guy I trusted for years wants me dead.

Cindy: That's understandable. I've only known you for five minutes and I want you dead, too.

Oh and Scarface is a TERRIBLE movie.

I am surprised Starship Troopers doesn't make the list. The maovie is lame, but I watch it every time I come across it on TV.

I liked both Mummy movies, but the second one wasn't as good as the first. I actually wish they would make another.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

Joey, I don't know how you can claim that sceen as "Bad". Everytime I have been trapped by people from the dark ages, I have always resorted to my gymnastic background to get me out of trouble. To throw in the quote, "Clearly these people are idiots." reminds me of the scene from "The Three Amigos" when El Guapo asks Heffe if he (El Guapo) has a plethora of friends. Heffe replies, "Ce, I'd say you have a plethora." El Guapo then berates Heffe, by asking, "Do You even know what a plethora is? I would hate for someone to tell someone else that they have a plethora, and not even know what a plethora is!"

Heffe then responds with a very funny response, somewhere along the line of, "Forgive me, El Guapo, for I do not possess your superior intelligence, but could you be venting your frustratuions out on me, as a way of masking the fact that it is your birthday?"

Anyway, I probably botched the whole thing, but thats what you post reminded me of...

BDK --

In 1980 mankind was able to finally marry the bad with the good in the union that became Gymkata. Greater than, but similar to Sweet & Sour, Gymkata divinely presents good and bad working in harmony as nature intended.

For the record -- those people were not from the dark ages -- they were the "crazies", a group of people that were quarantined into a small section of town, from the rest of the present day society. The crazies consisted of the town's serial killers, rapists, used book store employees, Cub fans, fanny-pack daddies, and probably some of my wife's extended family.

3 Amigos is a great movie!

For those who are desperate for more Gymkata awesomeness, it is now available on DVD. Before that one had to resort to purchasing blackmarket DVD's from SE Asia, who inevitably funneled the profits to their opium dens and terrorist organizations. But if ever their was a movie who was worth this terrible cost to one's character, it is Gymkata. I should know, because I am such a man.

The unfortunate thing about that list is it is clearly a mainstream driven list, and it's by Maxim, who employs my most hated critic, Pete Hammond. I swear that guy has to be made up.

Also, V was a television movie, thus eliminating it from competition. Kinda like GI Joe The Movie.

And yes, V for Vendetta stunk.

As did that horrible Scarface remake.

I think I need a bit of a ruling on this one. Not sure about 'V,' but GI Joe: The Movie was released theatrically; that's how it got celebrity casting (Don Johnson, IIRC). Some time after the movie came out, it was re-cut as episodes for the TV show.

I don't really think it warrants consideration as one of the best bad movies of all time....but it should at least remain eligible, along with the likes of the 80s Transformers movie, and Go-Bots: Battle of the Rock Lords.

GI Joe the Movie was never theatrically released. It was originally slated for release, but due to prouduction delays and the poor showing of other animated films, never met with release, and was instead shown on television. First as a feature length film, then as a 5 part mini-series.

A similar thing happened with Bravestarr: The Legend. As it was killed after a small opening in LA and never recieved any further release. But it actually played in a theater, even if it was only for one week.

Though you are right, this is slightly different from V, and V: The Final Battle, which were mini series specifically made for TV.

Judge Dredd.

Agreed which makes me ask the question why did they stop at just the 4 movies.

For 10-15 years Sly was the Tiger Woods of this genre. Consistantly rediculously amazing.

Rhinestone 1983 Dolly Pardon, with sly stallone singing country. This is where it all began folks.

Rambo II 1984

Rocky IV 1985

Cobra 1986

Over the Top 1987

Rambo III 1988

Tango and Cash 1989

A man called Rainbo 1990- never seen it but with this plot summary I know the next movie on Net Flix

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0100101/plotsummary

Rocky V 1990 this is where he starts to fall off a bit

Oscar 1991

Stop or my Mom will shoot 1992

Cliffhanger - 1993 - Back with perhaps his greatest masterpiece for this genre

Demolition Man -1993 - If not for Cliffhanger this would perhaps be the winner of the genre. Sly, Wesley Snipes, Sandra Bullock, Dennis Learry, the warden from Shawshank, Deuce Biggalow, just a rediculous cast for enjoyably bad movies.

Then he ends the run with The Specialist (1994), Judge Dredd (1995), Assassins (1996), and the last gasp with Daylight in (1997)

Overall just an incredible catalog for this category

What about that one where Patrick Swayze drives a semi? It's hillarious how they have to use a low angle shot the entire film to make him look even semi-imposing. It also features a bearded Randy Travis and Meat Loaf - talk about youe musical ensemble casts!

Yes, the classic, "Black Dog": http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/black_dog/

And as far as Stallone movies - you gotta go with "Over the Top".
