Brewers myspace' revisited

jaybird2001wi

I am bored so I decided to do some myspace searches of minor league Brewer players. Angel Salome's profile pic is hilarious and his pics are just as funny.

Lou Palmisano:

Jeremy Jeffress' myspace is not even being used apparently:

I don't know much about Myspace and I don't have an account myself, but are these really their accounts? Wouldn't they have them set to private for only their friends to view? Call me a cynic, but some of these are probably fans looking to gain something by starting a page in a player's name, especially a guy like Braun or Weeks.

Or maybe I'm wrong and don't get the whole importance of Myspace in our current culture and the fact that these guys are part of that.

The way I see the above myspace profiles, it seems like only Weeks and Braun's myspace profiles are the non-legit ones. Jeremy Jeffress is never used and it does state his place of birth or hometown as South Boston, VA. Palmisano does have a pic of him that never seemed to be made public on his homepage. Salome the same.

Like I said, I can't see why Braun or Weeks would want their lives to be more public. The guys in the minors aren't that big of a deal yet, so they can do some networking.

Again, the whole Myspace thing baffles me. If my friends are looking for me, I have email, a telephone and our fantasy league message board.

I guess I'm just a simple man.

burnie, one of the reasons I have myspace is that it gives me the chance to kind of reunite with some of my former high school classmates I haven't seen in like 6 years. It is a little better than facebook when it comes to social networking because facebook started out as a college-only website unlike myspace where everyone can join so it has a mix of everything.

By the way, I have been dressing up my myspace profile so feel free to look at mine:

That sounds like a good reason to avoid myspace. I'm kidding ya.

Besides, you can reunite at the 10-year reunion.http://static.yuku.com/v2//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/wink.gif

I think that once you are married you should delete your accounts. The best thing about myspace is that bands put up songs before their album comes out and you can check them out. Facebook is good to find old high school and grade school friends, but other than that i have no use for either. Myspace has quite a problem which being solicited by woman to pay for naked pictures. I took care of that by upping my security settings. Last week i had my first solicitation on facebook now that they let anyone in.

I use MySpace to keep track of some local bands I like. I don't get the social networking aspect of it.

Yeah, I forgot about the music angle.

I decided to do some searching on Myspace for a few of the Brewer players and I found Mat Gamel's page. There's one line that concerns me on his myspace page which says, " i also like aderol, i think it might have saved my batting avg this year." His page looks legitimate, but one or two users on this forum said Salome was suspended for aderol... I guess it makes me think twice.
