That's Eric Patterson, Corey's kid brother. He's supposed to be pretty good, not great. His original position is 2B, but with the Soriano they're trying him out in left.

Might we want St. Louis to win? I think I'd rather have a team at the top of the wild card standings to lose. Obviously, I understand that the Cardinals are in our division, but I figure that if we get to the point where THEY catch us, we weren't about to make the playoffs, anyway.

As bad as the Brewers have played lately, I think STL's 6 games in Milwaukee will pretty much kill any dreams they had of winning the division.
