Ned must have given that one up too. Seriously all the Ned talk is getting old, I doubt whoever is managing this club right would do any better.
I agree 100% with that.

Here are the 5 SP last 5 outings

Dave Bush: 6.0, 6.0, 5.1, 1.0, 5.0

Chris Capuano: 3.0, 7.0, 8.0, 6.1, 5.0,

Yovani Gallarado: 6.0, 6.2, 5.0, 6.2

Jeff Suppan: 6.0, 5.0, 5.0, 6.1, 5.2

Claudio Vargas: 5.0, 6.0, 8.0, 2.2, 7.0

24 games: 1-4 IP: 3 games, 5-6 IP: 17 games 7-8 IP: 4 games

How are bullpens supposed to survive with this? 4 out of 24 have gone 7 innings or more, that means more than likley 3 or 4 innings a game a bullpen have to be used.

I don't like the fact the "loss" tag is getting big. I hope by the end of the year the "win" tag is bigger than the "loss" tag.

14 straight losses in games started by Chris Capuano. How did a 2006 All-Star turn into Anthony Young?

Cubs lose 3 straight for like the first time since June and we do absolutely nothing with it. Cripes

Well at least, our stopper takes the mound on Wednesday. Not to put too much pressure on a rookie. Ironically, though, I'm beginning to think he might be the only starter who can handle it.

"I can't say I feel all that good about posting a new magic number, but it's technically true."

Is this the correct picture?

Good to see I didnt need to spend anytime with the brewers last night. Yech with a side of yech.

The bullpen is taxed and horrible right now. The bats show up every 5th day. The only positive i can see right now is the starting pitching... it can't get any worse, right?

If it wasn't for Yo, I wouldn't give two craps about the game tonight either. Any day now Ben, any day.

If the Brewers are serious about making a playoff run, Matt Wise needs to be DFA'd. Tomorrow.

I just don't understand why he can't be DLed

What are the MLB Rules for being placed on the DL? Does a doctor have to give a medical reason? (Obviously soreness can be faked)

Not even the Magic Number post went right tonight

Ah, crap. Sorry, I went to bed right after posting that. But the other pic posted is what I intended.

Here's another. It's not like it can bring worse mojo:

You know what's worse yet? The Wisconsin State Journal in Madison didn't have the game results in this morning's paper. "The game ended too late for this edition." Makes me wonder if the media are giving up. On the bright side, though, I actually still don't know the final score or exactly how the damage was sustained. And no need to tell me, I'll find out on my own.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.
