This will be a good series, because I will be at tomorrow and Wed. games. Braun will hit one out for me. And hopefully Prince will hit another one. This place is far to negative. We won the series against Philly. All we need is to win two games in Denver. Maybe we slug our way back into this game. If not, we have two more nights to play, including Gallardo and hopefully the good Cappy.

 

This time of year, pitcher's get shelled. You need to win some slugfests. We have as good a slugfest lineup as anyone. We're still in tonight's game.

I told many people this, but I will be surprised if the Brewers ever have a lead in this series.

 

My prediction a 2-4 road trip with the Cubs going 3-4. 1/2 game lead heading into next week. I still think we will win the division.

Something has to be done with Vargas after the game. He'd be a good long reliever, and still holds a lot of value for other clubs. We are too good of a team to have to lean on this guy for anything.

On a side note: Vargas is really pissing me off by playing the way we knew he eventually would.
