collecting bobbles is a crime at miller park

mattsr0625
i got a miller sweet spot ball, a pack of cards, keychain, and backyard baseball demo game. wonder if this guy is a member.

Although they did compensate you, it still sucks that you had to go through that. If I were you, I would still write a letter to Mark A.(if you didn't do that yet). Just recently, I had horrible customer service at the concession stand and decided to write to Mark about it. Although it didn't get to Mark, it did get to a representative to him and he forwarded my letter to the managers of the concession stands. I have noticed the changes at the stadium concession stands(like the employees are wearing gloves when they deal with food). They also compensated me with two club level tickets. Just a suggestion.

best they could do was a Miller ball?

they should be able to do a hell of a lot better than that imo

Agreed. I would think free tickets + Autographed stuff would be a starting point.

Yeesh...that story makes me rethink my plan to someday buy a 20 pack if I would still be that unimportant to the people at Miller Park. That is just terrible customer service. It shouldn't matter if you're a season ticket holder for years, or just buy a couple tickets a season, everyone should at least be shown common courtesy at respect, and the fact you didn't get that, at least initially, is pretty irritating.

I think the entire organization has been struggling to keep up with the increased interest in the team this year.

there was the concessions problems earlier in the year...those seem to be better

the parking lot situation was pretty rough for the first couple of series

i had some problems with securing tickets for opening day (have had a group of 25-40 going every year since about '99). i also got the same "i am not a big enough customer" vibe from the ticket office as well...even though i was a full season ticket holder this year...couldnt afford it this year though.

the bobblehead thing is ridiculous. they went way overboard on it IMO

the ushers and event staff seem to be overwhelmed on busy days...though i do agree that the supervisors on each level get the job done...as do the field security.

hopefully they are taking suggestions and learning from their mistakes

Why don't the attendants just put a sharpie black line on each ticket when they hand a person a bobblehead, can it be that easy?????

Have we lost the ability to tear a ticket stub? I know it's an old fashioned idea, but...

It seems like an obvious solution. The Packers marked tickets with a Sharpie on Brett Favre Figurine Day last season.

Don't you realize how much work it would be to mark every single ticket.

Jeez.

Especially on Fridays when the lines to get in are hundreds of people long, although it would help the amount of people running to the autograph lines and insure the people who got there early enough to get the autograph they want. It would work if there were enough entrances and employees to cover the load.

I probably missed this, but, ignoring the bobbles for a second, this guy was able to enter the stadium multiple times with the same ticket, even though it was scanned multiple times? I don't want to diminish the importance of the bobble issue, or the crappy customer service, but that seems like a potentially major problem all by itself. I can't believe the scanning software isn't catching multiple entries into the stadium using the same ticket.

I've been to every bobble head game for a last few years now and NEVER have I seen any enforcement of a "No Selling Bobblehead" policy

In the last 2 weeks, I've probably seen 200 cars going over the speed limit and not one of them got pulled over for speeding. that doesnt mean its not illegal, and it doesnt mean people arent getting pulled over, it just means that i dont see it.

I dont think anyone (staff or MPD) singled him out, but someone must have lied about what he was doing to the cops. The cops have MUCH more important things to be doing at the game, so they wanted to end the contact with him as quickly as possible, which is where the "do this or leave" ultimatum came in. I dont think selling bobbles at Miller Park is much different than walking into Walgreens and offering to sell a pack of batteries to someone for cheaper. Ive never physically seen a sign at Walgreens saying you cant do it, but i cant imagine they'd let you. I'd just say forget whatever happened, and go back to doing what you do next game because chances are nobody will say anything. But i wouldnt make a point of ratting on somebody doing something because we all know in America, unfortunately, people cant wait to get even, even if it's by lying or deceit.

no i forget. i was so worked up when i sent the letter it slipped my mind. but i heard that mark a. look for brewers fan sites on the internet so i can hope that he finds this.

Hey Mark A, how about gyros at the stadium.... I'm just sayin'.

That would be cool. I know me and my friends would buy them but that's only because we are Greek. They better be well made of course.http://static.yuku.com/v2//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/tongue.gif
