Wikipedia says only the "front-running" team can have a magic number. So you are right about the D Rays. But I'm not sure the Cubs qualify just b/c they are tied in the loss column unless Wikipedia's definition is wrong.

I think I figured out a reason why Bill (clap clap) Hall has been so pedestrian this year. I was reading the "Can Bill Hall ptich?" thread and figured out that he gave decided to share his greatness with other players. However, he gave up too much greatness to Yo and Braun, and now he barely looks like a ML player. My dilema is that I don't know if I want it to stay this way or do I want Bill to take back some of his powers?
