Anyone in St. Louis this past weekend?

Did anyone notice how much Cards fans enjoy the simple act of clapping?

Man, after the game we were going to give the "everybody clap yo hands" call on the way down the escalator because we were sure everyone in red would instinctually start clapping like crazy.

I'm not saying this is a bad thing, just something everyone in my group noticed at the end of the weekend. Great fans in St. Louis, great baseball scene around the stadium before and after games as well.

We were there on Saturday. I told my wife that the fans were much more into the game than they are at Miller Park. They don't miss a thing. I have heard several times that they were great fans. I agree completely.

I was there for two games this weekend. Cardinal fans are not only class acts, but are attentive and intelligent. It was easily the best baseball experience I've had and would reccomend to all fans looking for a Brewers road trip.

It blows my mind that they've sold out every game since the new stadium opened and probably had a streak going back at the old Busch. The metro area's got about a million more but that doesn't account for the knowledgeable part. I couldn't really speculate about the reasons for that, but if no one tries to start the wave during the middle of a rally that'd be kind of impressive.
