Top prospect Justin Upton called up

Tedaldtada

This guy is hands down the most talented player in the minors right now. He is going to be fun to watch for the next fifteen years unless he's killing the Brewers. He is one of the most talented players to come up in a long time, easily blowing Delmon Young out of the water. Granderson, Pence, Chris B. Young, even Grady Sizemore do not have the talent Upton does.

When you think about, there is a ton of exciting talent under 25 right now in the bigs.

Of course, many people said the same thing about his brother. Four years later, he still hasn't done all that much, although this year he's started to hit.

I am happy for the D-Backs, though, and hope it helps them out so I can see some playoff baseball in person this year.

I'm really excited to see this guy play. He's supposed to have advanced power for his age already, and coming up at age 20, there's a chance he could be scary good for 15-20 years. I've heard a lot of comparisons to Griffey, but apparently the power he has at his age, the better comparison is Alex Rodriguez from an offensive standpoint. If he pans out, the Diamondbacks could be scary good in a few years.

He'll most likely be playing RF. Chris Young has been a very bright spot in a struggling class. Young has also has turned into a very fine center fielder. If they keep Byrnes around, the Dbacks will have a nasty starting outfield.

BJ is still just 22, and has a 968 OPS this season. Thats awesome for anyone, and he plays 2B and CF. Most important, he reportedly has started to mature as a person.

I'm really hoping you get to see a D-backs/Brewers series.

It looks doubtful for the D-Backs to keep Byrnes as he recently rejected their latest offer and stated (through his agent) that they are done talking for the rest of the season. The front office has more or less came out and said that he'll be testing free-agency this winter.
