The newly found Bill Hall love by some here needs to stop. The guy has had a 10 game hot streak and people want to move him to the 2 and 3 hole in the lineup for good?!?

The guy is a very poor man's Soriano. And Soriano barely hits well enough to hold his place at 2b. The only reason he doesn't is because he refuses to move. Bill Hall is just as bad defensively as Soriano and he's NOT a good hitter. It's like how everyone was saying Cirillo was going to produce like he did 5 years ago because he started the year good.

I said Cirillo would come back down to earth and put up his robust .600 OPS...which he has, and now I will say that Bill Hall will come down to earth and hit his .240...which he will.

The ONLY value Hall has is that he can play multiple positions...other than that he's junk. Don't let 2 weeks of ball pull the wool over your eyes people.

September through February 2000-2003.

Practiced EVERY day with the team, scrimmages, lifting, running.

What's your point? Does that make me know less than if I was a starter on the team? I participated in every drill they do, I caught every pitcher they had including Brady Endl, Kevin T, and Greg R whom is from my hometown, I participated in film, EVERYTHING except games.

You still never answered my question.

No, they don't learn the same information, as the amount of time spent with a starter varies drastically with that of someone who will never see the field. Someone who will never see the field will receive the minimum amount of coaching possible. It isn't Little League where the coach has to make sure everyone is treated fairly.

Wow is that ever false. They are called team and position drills. The starters don't go out and do different things than the people who don't start. You have no idea what you're talking about.

Does this make you better than everyone here? Answer that question.

On the other hand, I've been laughing for 2 days at this thread and it has nothing to do with baseball, bill ball or soriano. It's all you BJ, THANK YOU>

The funny thing is, I'm laughing at you people too! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smokin.gif

Actually, I was in High School, Junior Olympic, and College athletics. Starters receive individual training, workouts, and coaching, especially compared to non-starters. Your blatant ignorance and continual self-aggrandizing behavior is laughable.

But I do have an insight into the game that 95% of the people on this site do not.

The last time you played a meaningful baseball game was in high school. The last time I played a meaningful baseball game was in high school. You spent 4 years holding Brady Endl's jock. Doesn't count. We're on equal footing.

I'm sorry, but you're wrong. Calling me blatantly ignorant is uncalled for. I have not insulted you. Don't insult me.

How is that not insulting? You need to go to ethics class.

he was associated with our program several years ago.

I don't belief he was a roster player, but did spend most of the pre-season with us.

The pre-seasons IS September-February. Are you reading anything I say?

I'm sorry to say, but even being with the team from Sept-Feb, you participate in EVERY drill the team does. Things YOU didn't learn from playing beer league softball.

I was once on an airplane flight with a former Major League manager...does that put me above most here? Afterall, just being around him and in the cabin for 2.5 hours you pick up more than most.

Well from what I understand Rydogg, a jock needs to be involved. Was his Jock in his carry on, was he wearing it, or did you have a chance to carry it?

Yeah, that wasn't an attempt to insult me at all. And you never tried to insult anyone else on this thread either. Please, keep feigning innocence. It really does suit you.

But please, explain to us how exactly you get 100% the same information as every other player, when you aren't even there for the regular season?

Bjames,

Is it that hard for you to just leave this thread alone? It will die a quick death if you just don't open it again.

Oh, so you can dish it out but can't take it...I see.

Everyone else can insult me, but when I come back at them they cry foul. Ok. If you actually look back at the beginning of the thread I started the tread and 3 people came after me before I even posted again. I'm sorry, but I'm going to defend myself.
