No need to attack me.

Sorry, I didn't think I was "attacking" someone....I was defending myself.

People who have opposing views to you are allowed to post on this site.....last time I checked, it was a free country.

Ok bucks... nothing bothers me as much as putting words in someone's mouth to bolster your argument. Ralph never said anything close to that, nor did he imply it. Give it a rest, and personally I wouldn't mind at all if your poo-poo attitude left for a while.

RUSSELL!!!

[ Hate to pile on, but every so often I feel like everyone in the stadium plus a nationwide TV audience can tell a pitcher is done, and yet Ned and Maddux have to see a detonation just to be sure. DD has worked his way out of a lot of jams, but who thought he was going to get out of this one? Anyone? ]

I'm a fan of saving the bullpen and normally an avid defender of Yost, but DD was clearly laboring...

Branyan is the manyan.

Question:

Does Helling bat for himself?

Davis was already at 100 pitches. No reason to leave him in there with no command at all.

The bullpen needs a little rest. Davis needed to go deep in the game. He couldn't but the Brewers still had to squeeze every last batter out of him.

Don't blame Helling. A career starter was brought in with the bases loaded. Another move that makes no sense to me.

Davis gets the blame. Not Helling. Certainly not Yost. That said, Helling is a reliever now. He gets paid to come in and clean up messes.

People need to realize that sometimes the players are not getting the job done. Not everything can be blamed on the manager.
