Maybe if we didn't have so many losers around here the site's reputation would improve. We'd just be one of the worst sites ever.

 

If you are satisified with being one of the worst sites ever, as opposed to the worst site ever, well, that's ok, even if it is pretty lame.

 

In my opinion the only thing stopping this site from being THE worst ever is us. I think we all need to dig a bit deeper, and find not just our inner loser, but our inner Davy Lopes. If we are able to give 110%, I'm sure we can make turn this site into the steamy, smelly pile of worthlessness that we all want it to be.

 

If you are satisified with being a partial loser, I can't make you want more... I can only pray that one day you'll want to be as big a loser as the rest of us, and make this site what it can be.

The thing is, we need to find more veteran losers. People who had 1000+ posts at now defunct Brewers forums of the past. That know how to lose, and can impart that losing knowledge on the rest of us. Yeah, we have some vets here, but we need a few more to put us over the top.

 

Sure, we don't have as much of a losing attitude as we need - and part of that problem may be management. They keep around people who don't have the right losing attitude, and don't seem to show the heart it takes.

We losers haven't trying hard enough, but we've been pretty losery.

 

Here's unimpeachable statistical evidence (which makes you a loser for reading):

 

Brewers' all-time winning %: .471

Brewers' winning % since Brewerfan: .429

 

But we can do better!

Look at all of the worst sites around the internet. They all have one thing in common, they weren't afraid to go out and sign that marquee loser, even if they had to overpay for him.

 

I mean, that Anime discussion board got that one guy who was convicted possession of child pornography. Sure, they had to pay a lot to get him, but I don't exactly think they'll be complaining about that move when you consider where he has helped them go. Do you see the Final Fantasy chat room complaining about how much they spent to get that guy with five restraining orders against him and a mountain of unpaid child support? I don't think so.

 

You guys all have such a non-defeatist attitude from previous regimes. Well, I'm here to tell you that this is a new age, and we have a lot of new energy pumped into losing now. New life has been breathed into the organization and it's time to suck.

 

I'm going to do my part now by going and alphabetizing my thimble collection. I hope the rest of you are willing to take the call and step it up.

Do you suppose the banned trolls monitor the site all the time? perhaps dreaming of an amnesty day? Even the ones who were banned years ago? Because that would really smack of loserness. (Worse than the rest of us.)
