Nice game today, nice turnout, took advantage of the 5 county thing, got fried in the sun on the 3rd base side.

The more I think about Scotty's HR the more impressed I am. Off a lefty, with tough shadows in the 8th for a guy who's not the most powerful bat in the lineup is pretty good. He's got a little more pop in the bat this year, just needs to keep getting an easy swing on the ball and the average will pick up.

Come on Obermeuller!

Anyone else thinking it may be time to think about bringing Hendrickson up for good now?

Tuesday is June 1, which is the date a lot of us were projecting for his arrival in Milwaukee. He's got to be past the super-two "line" by now, he's done about as well as he can in Indy, and he's certainly not being blocked.

I think it's time.

And, please, no Saenz comments Clancy. I simply don't wanna hear them.

I agree Chris, I'd have to guess that this is Obie's last stand...unless of course Capuano is out for a time.

Saenz needs to stay in AA, Bring Hendrickson up, get Cappy healthy and lets go into June with a decent rotaion.

attendance - 24,616... great for a thursday afternoon. i have a feeling that this weekend is gonna be well attended due to the 5-county deal and their recent performance.

i unfortunately will not be attending, 3rd shift is awful.

I'm as dubious about Obie as anybody, but before we punch his ticket out of town, let's get Cap healthy AND see what we have in Santos. He wasn't great last night against a weak lineup, and while he's pitched a few solid games, I think he's still some distance from proving that he's better than Obermuller, let alone that he's really any good. I'm rooting for him, and I'd pick him over Obie if I had to place a bet right now. But it's far from settled.

You have to love the way the bullpen has gotten it together. I haven't looked back at the box scores, but I can't remember the last time anybody out there took a Ford-Hernandez-type pasting. Kolb, Kiesch, and (tiny sample size alert) Adams have been money. Viz and Burba have been up and down lately, but their downs haven't been too bad, and Bennett has really pulled himself together. Whether Wise turns out to be better than the previous members of the "looks good at AAA, maybe a starter, has to at least be a solid reliever" brigade remains to be seen.

I wouldn't put Kolb in the All-Star Game at this point. He hasn't done a thing wrong, but he has only pitched 16.2 innings, and his strikeout total falls somewhere between weird and very disturbing. I predict that, if his K rate doesn't rise soon, he'll get hammered a few times.

Greg.

Wish I could have attended the game today. This cold that I have is killing me. Don't you hate getting colds in the last week of May?

Nice win for Sheets. He has always pitched LA well in his career. My ideal lineup for Nedley to put up in a game is left/right. Still waiting to see it.

Nice win for the Brewers.

Well, if Hall could get more starts at SS I think this lineup might work well

1. Pods CF

2. Spivey 2b

3. Jenkins LF

4. Ginter 3b

5. Overbay 1b

6. Hall SS

7. Grieve RF

8. Moeller C

I really wish Ginter could cut down on the Ks, maybe hitting in front of Overbay he could get more fastballs. What do you think?
