Miscellaneous thoughts from the last few innings:

- Nice to see Kinney continue his improved pitching. Not the best outing in the world, but two scoreless innings are two scoreless innings. Hopefully he'll find a comfort zone in a relief role and can become a productive setup man or closer.

- Grieve is the man.

- I'll take credit for Jenkins' home run... but I'm not satisfied yet. You still suck, Geoff... best start hitting, or else. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

- Matt Wise finished with 52 pitches, 35 strikes, in five innings. That's amazing.

- No walks yet today again. They gots to be more patient.

definitely batman. He just looks so confident--almost pissed-- out there now. He comes in and just lets it fly. David Weathers II?

And FVBrewerfan, Sheets goes tomorrow and Sunday on this trip

Or is this Capuono's start and he can't go?

Yeah, today was Cappy's turn but his "pulled lat" or whatever is his current injury of the week pushed him back to Saturday.

These Johnny Wholestaff days have been pretty sweet, though, no?

Did I say give Jenkins a day off? I meant Bill Hall.

Maybe we should go with like a 17 man pitching staff, and have several days a week being pitched Johnny and his brothers

just wanted to give myself some props for predicting before the 1st pitch of the year that MIL would have 26 wins after may.

I originally miscounted and predicted 27-24. I corrected the error and adjusted to 26-24. I didnt account for the rain out!

Hopefully the crew can hang on today and make that 26 win prediction hang on!!!

Lets go danny kolb!!

0-2 pitch right down Broadway.

Clearly, Danny doesn't have "it" today. Sounds like the kind of pitch Vizcaino would throw to Craig Wilson.

EDIT: The MLB.com Game Tracking thingie is stupid. That was a very good pitch by Kolb. Stupid Game Tracking thingie.

The Brewers won't be winning this game in ten, or probably 11. Unless they plan on hitting Eric Gagne to do it. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eek.gif

Wearing my heart on my sleeve since birth. Hopefully, it's my only crime.

Gotta agree there homer, but even then Clark's throw was perfect and Moeller blocked the plate...all that didn't happen was catching the ball. If Moeller catches it, LoDuca's out.

Also, while Kolb's pitches aren't great, gotta give some props to the Dodgers hitters' and their great approaches. A broken bat single, a liner just past SS, a soft fly to left and a liner to right. If they try for homers, the game's over

Darn it, scoop.... don't ever do that again. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif

Gagne? Wonder-freaking-ful.

What's worse, we have (wait for it........) Craig Counsell and Gary Bennett on our bench.

Argh x2.

At a boy, Moeller... hit where they ain't.

Now lean into one, Craig, and we'll have ourselves a rally.

UPDATE: Darn it. Swinging at the first pitch? I thought you were a gritty, scrappy battler Craig. No soup for you.
