I suppose I shouldn't be so hard on Grieve, after all he is our second leading hitter...at .257....Yikes. In his last 4 games(see I can select a sample to prove my point too) he is 1 for 10. That is what I meant by STARTING to show his true colors. Maybe he should lead off because he does walk alot. In the end, his slow bat and lousy defense will convince you that he is NOT an everyday player.

 

He hit .306, .444. .531, .975 in the month of May. In total, he has hit .257, .388, .438, .826. He has had (ahem) two bad games in a row. So his "true colors" are those two games, and not the previous two months of the season.

 

Right.
