Nice to see Hall, Liefer, and Overbay coming together... it's good when teammates enjoy each other's company enough to have little get togethers like that. Next time I would prefer that they hold their meetings *not* during the game, but maybe that's asking for too much.

Nice to see Adam Eaton with a stolen base, too. Pitchers don't get enough steals, so I'm glad Davis and Moeller are being charitable.

The other funny thing is that I'm considered a pessimist and many so-called optimists are jumping all over the team right now. The teams going through a rough spot now and while I don't anticipate they will lose 2 out of every 3 the remainder of the year, this team doesn't have the talent to play 0.500 over a 162 game schedule. How about we enjoy the fact they are still @ 0.500 instead of being so negative.

well it look like we are about to lose our second consevtive series. now we are back to 500 with a 3 game set aganist one of the best hitting teams in the Al.

Can almost see the wheels falling off with this West coast swing

Don't throw that out too fast. The Brewers schedule is brutal over the next month or so.

Im sorry, but this team has become totally unwatchable, if not pathetic. This is the worst offensive team in the big leagues outside of Montreal.

"Slumps" are things that last a couple weeks. This offensive futility has now lasted a calendar month. That isn't a slump - its a trend.

It probably won't make a difference, but I'm sick of seeing Trent F. Durrington as the first bat off the bench in a game that's theoretically still in reach. That pretty much means that at the end of the game a better bat (aren't they all?) won't have gotten a chance to hit.

Nice to see Phil Nevin enjoyed the home run he hit... I didn't.

And I agree, Robert, about Mr. Durrington. Even Brady Clark is a superior option, IMO, and that's saying something. But when Junior Spivey and Ben Grieve are both available, they need to be numbers 1a and 1b off the bench (and/or Kieschnick depending on the situation, like today).

Nedley is always concerned with "saving" his players for later, but later never comes. I hope he starts learning that pretty quick, 'cause he's struggled with it the entirety of his short managerial career.

Kieschnick needs to go home and be with his wife. I'm sure this isn't an easy day for him, and I wouldn't fault him if his concentration just isn't where it normally is. With so many relief pitchers and an off-day tomorrow, I wish they could have avoided using the father-to-be.
