Since this is Scotty's best offensive since June 1st... I'm posting a pic of who saw that performance...

I'm going to hope she was rooting for the Brewers. If not, I'll do my best to convince her.

First off, those of you who were unhappy with tonight's lineup are free to go back and delete those posts if you wish. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif

A few more thoughts:

There were a lot of people thinking that there would be a sweep in this series, since the Brewers are facing one of the best teams in MLB... who could have imagined that it'll be the Brewers going for the sweep tomorrow?

Also, is it fair for me to name Mike Maddux the MVP of the first third of the season? Seriously, Mike has done an unbelievable job with this staff, though a bit of of the credit probably does belong with Bennett and Moeller as well. If you'd have told me before the season that our rotation at this point would be Sheets/Davis/Santos/Obermuller/Wise, I'd have mailed in the season from the get go.

I should be sleeping, but...

Team W L PCT GB ST L10 ------------------------------------------------------------- St. Louis 34 25 .576 -- W1 7-3 Cincinnati 34 25 .576 -- L3 6-4 Houston 32 26 .552 1.5 W2 5-5 Milwaukee 29 27 .518 3.5 W2 4-6 Chicago 30 28 .517 3.5 L1 5-5 Pittsburgh 24 30 .444 7.5 L3 2-8

That's right, kids... we're ahead of the Cubs on June 10, 2004.

Sweet dreams,

Damn clancy, did you search for the worst picture of JLH you could find?Granted she isn't as naturally pretty in the facial features as other beauties, some pictures she doesnt look that good. With her bod though,it's very easy to look at her from the neck down.

Peavey is right on Maddux,to think that staff has been this good its pretty amazing.

Always nice to be able to point that out to my Cub fan co-workers.

Several observations about last nights game. Angels bullpen is not as deep as Brewers especially with Percival out. Watching game on satellite, Angel broadcast had Washburn on tape fondly remembering his days as big time Brewer fan listening to Ueck. He admitted still following Crew and was happy for there success this year. Then he goes out and contributes to it.

Clark's outburst was very welcome as was Pods getting on base 4 times. Brady is rather well suited to hit second. Production at top of order is critical.

I also think Yost stuck with Santos as long as possible to save Wise for a start Saturday and let Capuano get another rehab start.

The Karma Police should really be after Anaheim. What's up with this?

"Brewers pitcher Doug Davis will return to Milwaukee today in order to be rested for his start against Houston Friday night at Miller Park. The Angels' refusal to play a day game today means that the Brewers' plane won't arrive in Milwaukee until after 7 a.m. Friday."

Anyway. The fact that this team with a win tonight would come home with a winning road trip (5-4) is mind boggling, especially when you consider the recent offensive woes.

Since Jared Washburn takes five minutes in between pitches, I went to bed in the fourth inning(think it was 6-2 at the time). How in the hell did Santos give up 13 hits, 2 walks and only 2 runs? Did we complete all five double plays in his six innings? If so, that's incredible and lucky.

I was THERE man! I was THERE!!

Section 223, row A, seat 12.

And no, I didn't see JLH. (Didn't see the game either - got there in the bottom of the 3rd, left in bottom of 8th. Little traffic from Santa Monica to Anaheim.)
