Awesome job by Viz. Let's go offense, get some insurance!

yeah, i dunno about you guys, but i'm more than ok with not seeing the likes of vlad, garrett, figgins, colon, erstad, k-rod, etc, etc, etc, again for the rest of the year.

They are starting to heat up just in time for the Cubs this weekend, that's a shamehttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smokin.gif

OMG, when will baseball managers ever learn to use their dominant closers in the most crucial situations rather than saving them for the last inning.

Pathetic.

Ok, Mike Adams was available and Nedley chose Bennett instead. That's horse#@$%. There's no question about it... Adams is a better pitcher, he's been a better pitcher, and he's been better in pressure situations. How many times does mister BENNETT!!! have to fail in these "close and late" outings for Nedley to start using him in lower leverage innings?

Horse#@$%.

EDIT: I almost forgot to mention... *dreamy* http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/embarassed.gif

*** was that, Guillen?

EDIT: Dag nabbit. That ball had eyes... good job by Adams getting the groundball. That pitch was not right down the middle, it was on the outside corner at the knees. Bill Schroeder is an incompetent boob.

I hear ya, Ajay. Nothing pisses me off more than managers who are too stubbornly "traditional" to bring their closer in before the 9th.

They've started putting stat/strategy nerds in the front office... how long before they put 'em in the dugout?
