6/23/2004 - Brewers (Capuano) vs. Rockies (Estes)

The Brewers will look to Human Rain Delay Jr. to win the series for them, as two southpaws face off in the second game of the series.

Estes has not done too bad since joining the Rockies sporting a 7-3 record and an ERA of 5.55, which isn't bad for playing in Colorado.

Cappy has an ERA of 2.89 and is 2-2. He has given up 15 runs, but only 9 of the runs are Earned, in 28 innings of work.

This Grieve benching isn't so surprising given the lefty starter....nice to see Hall get a start at short.

Odd that the Brewers elected to play the infield in with runners on second and third and nobody out in the third. Miles just popped a little thumb job over second base... if Spivey is playing in "normal" position, that's an easy catch.

Why are we trying to prevent one run from scoring in the third inning of a 0-0 ballgame?
