when you strike out 12 batters you think the crew should win , oh to win you have to get runs thats right I forgot.ill sopprt them but they could be in first place if they would win these types of games ehn you leave guys a 2nd and third cause you decide you need a home run instead of a base hit you mess up look at the pitch counts the crew needs to take more pitches. great pitching now no hits

So you think Sheets should be taught how to bunt with the game on the line? I'd say BP before the game might be a better time. Untill he DOES learn, get a damn pinch batter in there.

Maybe we should start using Jenkins as a late inning defensive sub...

There is No Friggin way Sheets should have came up To bat in that sisuation.

I don"t understand Ned at all and after making a good point pitch hitting for moller yesterday.

Unreal cost us a big Ininging especially with the bats not swinging well lately.

well it looking like we are down to 3 games over 500 and thanks to ned Lost our 1st series in the last 5.

now we play Minn at home looking to beat up on us in the metrodome another Gut check for the Crew.

You can complain about both Grieve and Clark as much as you want, but the fact is that both of the are pretty bad. Settle down OBP crew, I know Grieve will take a walk, but his defense is absolutely horrible and I think having him in right field is more of a liability than his bat is worth. Clark is just as bad with the bat. I realize that he has been better as of late, but he is not the answer. Is Corey Hart ready for MLB pitching....I don't know, but could he be any worse than the two we run out there everyday? The 5th spot in our lineup is killing us everyday, well that and the fact that Pods know thinks he is a HR hitter. Nothing against Ginter (I do like Keith) but having him in the 5 hole is doing nothing to protect Overbay. Not to mention the days Yost trots Brady out in the 5 hole.

they k the last 2 batters think base hit not homers guys and you may surprise your self your not home run hitters you need basehits to win good job sheets and wise anothe great outing for both. to bad they cant score runs.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif

These past two games have probably been two of the most disappointing games of the season. Were having a great homestand against good competition, and then we lose the last two games against the worst team in the NL. To make matters worse, we score a whopping 8 runs in three games against the worst pitching staff in the NL (maybe the entire mlb?) Very disappointing, especially with a tough series in Minny this weekend. This could be the start of a bad slide for this team unless if the Offense pulls it's collective head out of it's a$$. Man, I'm pissed!

Going into attending last night nights game I was starting to fly high about the Brewers, something not done for many years. But after today I have been shot back down to reality. I wouldn't be shocked to see the Brewers about 5 to 6 games under .500 at All-Star time. I know it is only 2 games, but reality and a look at the upcoming schedule has set in.

Like I said earlier, the Brewers DESERVED to lose this game with that horrible managerial decision in the 7th. The Brewers get two on with nobody out and have a rally going, only to have our clueless manager have one of the poorest hitters on the team try to bunt them over. Not even that, but Yost decided to have Sheets do that after Sheets bunted into a DP earlier in the game.

Just terrible.

You say that as if the other guys on the team would have actually gotten hits to get the guys in.

Yost's excuse on Ben's bunt:

"He's been working hard on his hitting". "Benny's been getting his bunts down all season long."

Um, Ned, apparently you forgot about the nice DP he bunted into earlier IN TODAY'S GAME.

Glad to hear the media all over Ned's ass for this.
