6/29/04 - Brewers (Capuano) @ Rockies (Estes)

JaNelson52

Needless to say, this series is huge for the Crew, as Colorado has never been a place the Brewers have historically played well. Plus, the Brewers face two pitchers in the first two games in Estes and Cook that handled the Brewers in Milwaukee.

It should be noted that the Rockies are the last non-divisional opponent the team faces before the trading deadline next month. If the Brewers are going to make a true step forward in the standings, it has to start now.

I think the Expos are ultimately going to finish ahead of the Diamondbacks and Rockies. While I wouldn't call it a test, this is a series that they should win because it's going to get a lot tougher in a hurry. They really need to hit some HRs in this series.
