Reds announcers just estimated over 30K as well.

They also mentioned a Chicago sportswriter had done an article saying that almost 25% of ticket sales in Milwaukee would be to Cubs fans this year. They said it like they meant for the entire year. I don't see how that could be possible. Surely that was taken out of context.

The Cubs play 10 games at MP this year (approx. 1/8 of games) if they account for 75% of those (31000) they could accout for 310,000. 25 percent of the total would put the season mark at about 1.24 million. So probably more like 1/6 or 1/7 is more like it if you think the majority of Cubs tix are going to Chicago fans.

Maybe it is just me, but I found it odd that Acevedo was allowed to hit and wasn't pinch hit for...

1) He allowed 5 runs in the first...

2) They had runners on second and third with 2 outs... They had a chance to get back in the game quickly...

3) It's not like they have to worry about over-working their bullpen with the all-star break coming up...

Well the Reds must expect to have alot of scoring opportunities today...

Maybe the baseball gods say don't do it(Pinch hit for the pitcher this early) but if their ever was a time, it was then...

after being at a cubs game (the middle game) last week, i don't think it was 75% cubs fans... maybe 75% of the merchandise being worn in the stadium was Cubs stuff (only because brewers fans haven't had a reason to buy brewers stuff in years past)...

I would say 45-50% Brewers Fans, 50-55% Cubs fans, and i would expect that Brewer fans will outnumber cubs fans in future series if we continue to stay in the pennett race
