Ned wrote WH in the lineup for 3b. Dang. I was hoping for an early wedding gift. THis HAS to be the end of the string for WH though. Don't you think? I mean come on. Maybe 25 more useless AB's, and then banished to the bench?

Brewerfan...gorgeous?! Why would you be watching a Brewer game on your honeymoon? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smokin.gif

Anyways, Im cracking open my first beer of the night and saying here is to a good second half.

We interrupt this regularly scheduled game thread for a special announcement...

... thanks to SlideBernieSlide, I just added the pitching matchups for the rest of the division to the DB Series Preview. They would have been up earlier, but I've been off-line since this morning. Thanks again to SBS for his help!

We now return to your regularly scheduled game thread, already in progress.

I hate WGN. And I hate the fact that I live in Minnesota, so WGN is the only shot I have of watching any of these games.

Chip Caray is a jackass. And maybe someone should tell them that the first "d" in Podsednik is silent. You'd think after 19 meetings last year and three more this year, they'd learn that.

Also nice were the excuses made for the Cubs. Two runs and 31 strikeouts, my fellow Brewer fans, had NOTHING to do with the Brewers' pitchers and EVERYTHING to do with a sudden team-wide slump.

At least Po is off the bases now. Chip and Steve Stone can stop mispronouncing his name for at least a few minutes.

Wearing my heart on my sleeve since birth. Hopefully, it's my only crime.

anyone else thinking Lyle and Grieve will have huge second halfs (I think that's correct, and not "halves")? Lyle has established himself. With his selectivity, he may see his walks sky-rocket, and he could have a Bonds-like (in terms of avg and obp) second half where he just swings at the perfect pitches and walks a lot.

With Grieve now basically our fulltime RF and 5-hitter, he'll come up with men on a lot, and should be able to thrive.

In other news, Todd Hollandsworth is officially out for the entire series with his injuried "leg nerve" (medical term). Aramis Ramirez will probably be back tomorrow, though, or over the weekend at the latest.
