Yuck. If you're in Milwaukee, it's on Telemundo again.

Russell is back in the lineup, but still no Ben Grieve.

Why is the only guy hitting above .300 the one who keeps sliding in the batting order?? I know the Lyle has hitting #5 for a week or so now but what good does he do there when Pods and Counsell/Clark lead off with hits, then Jenks whiffs, Helms/Branyan whiffs and then Lyle hits a long fly out?? It would seem to me that Overbay is the perfect #3 hitter for this team since our #1 and #2 guys get on base, then Overbay up to hit #3, keep the rally going, then Jenks, Then Branyan to go for the HR...right??

This is sad. We're only down 2-0, we have 24 outs to make up the deficit and I fear that the game is over. We get the bases loaded with 1 out and we don't score ANY runs? Can I get a ***? I have went from being in love with this team to being frustrated as hell with them.

For my comments on knowing for certain that a game is over once the other team scores......a run or two, read the "Sickening and Disheartening" thread.

Bleah.

I'm willing to bet that right at this moment, most AA offenses could not do worse than our starting lineup.

We had a chance to tie this game or take the lead but Overbay GIDP. That was our 1 chance to take control of the game and we blew it. The same thing happened on get away day vs. Chicago. We had Pods and Counsell on the corners with no outs and Jenks, Branyon and Overbay all struck out. That was the game.

RoCo, I think that 9 random people from this board have a better chance that the Brewers O. Hell, I think a coat rack placed on home plate would do better.

What is this team's problem?? Consistently getting beat by pitchers with ERA's well over 5.00 or 6.00 and giving up HRs to hitters who are close to being released or sent down?? Is it me or does just about every player "get well" against The Brewers??

Vogelsong may have an ERA of 6.50, but think of it this way: If the Brewers pitching staff was as good as our offense, we would have a team ERA of 10.50. So really, Vogelsong may as well be Cy Young.

BTW, WE SCORED A RUN!!!

2-1!
