08/08/2004 - Brewers (Capuano) @ Florida (Willis)

Al is a wee bit abrasive, but to be honest, he has lots and lots of good, good ideas.

The idea of replacement level players... buying them cheap is really good (except we dont want 25 of them at the same time!)

The sample size, he really is right on that.

The mantra that batting average is meaningless on its own... correct, Al.

Al, I feel sorry for your wife and kids.

No offense, but even if you have 1 post or 11,000 you should be treated equally if you post with at least some type of knowledge of the game and the Brewers. I actually thought there were pretty good posts. Of course, that's just one man's humble opinion.

I got to give the guy credit, he sure knows how to make friends. I didn't read any of the aforementioned posts, but know that the people on page four alone deserve a little more courtesy than that. I would ask those rightfully offended by his statement to just consider the source and move on. Now, you will have to excuse me while this "minor league fan" tries to figure the difference between a hit and an error(Al told me I can't differentiate).
