I wonder if Kolb is hiding an injury. It does not make sense that he is suddenly wild. His last two or three outings he has been walking and hitting guys. It is not likely that he suddenly forgot how to pitch.

Well, that is why all you guys are sitting at home on the computers and Ned is in the dugout-- he got the win, he knows what he is doing.

If he knows what he's doing why does the Crew still have a horrible record? O yeh, because they won this one game, so you must be right.

Let's cut Yost some slack. After all this is only his second year as manager. He has a lot of stuff to learn and room for improvement. Besides, he has been showing signs of intelligence lately. Giving Helms a talking to, benching Pods, putting Pods at #8 for tues, pulling Cappy at the right time, and beleive it or not saying the right things to the media.

Yes, Yost has room for improvement, but I trust he'll make it and someday become 80% of the manager Bobby Cox is.

Here, we go again. I live in Arizona and I'm a Brewer fan and a D-Back fan. The D-backs (getting spanked 10-0 so far today) have a horrible record. The Brewers have a disappointing (but expected) record.

Geez, you're like that Randy Quaid character in Major League II

They won, so props to Ned and the team. I like Ned and think we could and have done a lot worse @ the top of the dugout. However, just because his line worked today doesn't mean it was correct. As it turns out any line up would have worked (so long as it was sound on D) because of the pitching staff. So, saying that this was the "right" line up to play is, at best, off base.

I just made the point about Ned knowing what he is doing because about the first 12 people on this thread said it was going to be an automatic loss with his lineup and it was doom from the start. Guess what, they won. I like many others am the first to jump on Yost but let the game start before jumping the guy. It is like running for the basement at the first sign of a cloud in the sky-- But then again weathermen are now the new hype people with their severe weather index.

Overall, I will stick to my guns that Yost is at BEST, a bad game manager, and at times he is terrible. I'm not giving him props for the lineup today because it scored 2 whole runs. We won because Caps dominated.

Now, I WILL give Yost props for hauling Cap's ass out of the game when he did. Far too often lately, he's left a guy in just long enough to lose the game. So Cap was only at 85 pitches, so what? At least he didn't leave him in for one more inning in which he most likely wouldv'e walked the leadoff guy, given up a single, and THEN pulled him. Can't have it both ways.

Al..."Allow me to say, if you took part in the above thread, I truly feel sorry for you."

Darn, darn, darn. I almost did not participate at all. But I added one post when Kolb hit that guy. And now I am lumped together with all you idiots. My mother always told me to avoid bad company. I should have listened to her.

I hope when I grow up, that if I ever get into a conversation where I either disagree with the majority, or just find the conversation silly, I can either disagree with reason and facts rather than insults, or find it within myself to simply say nothing at all.

When I grow up, of course.

RoCo... "I hope when I grow up"

Are you kidding me. Not only are my co-posters idiots, some of them are young. The only young people I want anything to do with are named Kylie Minogue, Jennifer Lopez, or Halle Berry.
