After Tommy John they said he had "serious mechanical flaws", I think he's since worked them out but he has been very inconsistent this year. He has solid stuff, but will need to prove himself down the stretch to earn himself a spot in the starting rotation next year. He's getting another chance because of the Benson trade so we'll see what he can do.

Way to go, Kkkkkrynzel.
"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

Gotta say that David's stance looks better than it did last fall in Arizona. Looks very relaxed, almost like Griffey or Troy O'Leary (albeit he's much slimmer). Kind of surprised in his first big league at bat they didn't ask him to try to bunt for a hit.

Ok, I know people are going to say "Get of Sutton's Back, he's not that bad!" blah blah blah!

"The Brewers are finding ways to win, hopefully they can find a way to win this one tonight."

They snapped a TWELVE GAME LOSING STREAK just yesterday Darron. I hardly think that qualifies as finding ways to win. One win in the last 2 weeks. Ughhhhhh.

O'Leary's page at baseball-reference.com:

Hmm.... some decent power numbers. Some of the similar players were Mel Hall and Bernard Gilkey.

An interesting comparison as well: Former Brewer Sixto Lezcano.

Here is who I think Krynzel is comparable to. Some speed, but there's a lot of power.
