whizkid,

I botched that one! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif

The incorrect date on yesterday's game thread misled me. No excuse for the game time, though.

Everything's fixed now.

You know, I would pay good money to be able to get all 162 games on my TV. I wonder how muc it would take for that to happen. I'm thinink $5 per game. $810 bucks per person, per year? Shoot, I might pay that just to NOT get the friggen Red Soxs and Yankees every other day.

Did anyone catch the name of the play by play guy on ESPN2 today? It's Mark something or other (sounds a little like 'dealing').

Kyle Peterson's the color analyst.

I've got Yanks-BoSox on ESPN2, so luckily I have the MLB cable package. So sorry

And as for Ginter playing everyday, I can see it, just not where. I figure we have to bring back Spivey, but given he's had hamstring issues in his career, I would like to see Ginter play like Loretta did a few years back. 2 days a week at 2nd, 1 a week in the outfield, 1 at 3rd/1st). That's 2/3rds of the games, not to mention that we always seem to have an injury. If he could play SS, I'd let him split time with Hall

speaking of Ginter, when did he remember how to drive a ball? After watching him flail at the ball for much of the year, he's really been hitting the ball hard in the last 3 or so weeks. Maybe it's something mechanical, because he's not pulling off of everything. Either that, or he's just not getting lots of breaking balls on the outer half anymore

why Counsell
That was questioned by the ESPN announcers. Did other broadcast teams question it, too?

The only thing Neely and Peterson could guess is that Ned would have wanted to use Geoff in a later at bat.
