Hopefully Sheets is watching these young guys playing. Gotta make him feel better about signing an extension here.

Surest way to the Hall of Fame is bringing perennial loser to a World Series.

It was a lot of fun hearing from the new owner (although Darron seemed to be fawning on Mr. A a little much, maybe in the hope of permanent job security.)

Is this mlb.com feed going to run throughout spring training for all brewer games because this is great?

Quote:
How has Capellan looked? I heard he pitched today

If I remember correctly, he pitched 2 inninngs and gave up 1 run and 2 hits. His first inning he gave up two straight hits, struck a guy out, and then gave up a sack fly. Then settled down and got the other two out. I believe he worked a 1-2-3 inning his next time out. Apparently he look pretty good and his fast ball had alot of gidy-up on it.

Thanks all. Hope you guys enjoyed the running box. For those of you who weren't able to follow this thread during the game. Go back to Page 2 to find my running box score of the Brewers 12-8 victory over Oakland.

Just like the previous 2 years, I hope to it this throughout most of the spring. I'll be out of town the next couple of days though. But my running box will return next week.

Go Crew!

Hopefully we'll see box scores shortly... in the meantime, this sure looks pretty, doesn't it?

A few thoughts from Maryvale.

It was loads of fun to see Capellan, Krynzel, Weeks, Iberran, Fermaint and the regulars.

Branyan barely missed a bomb on a towering shot to right.

Weeks looks MLB ready to me. He can absolutly fly around the bases and WILL lead the league in triples some day. He looks like a phenom.

Cirillo KILLED the ball in both AB's.

Fermaint is much much stockier than I realized. Think Puckett.

Cappellan pitched into good AND bad luck. The first batter hit one off the end of the bat and Nelson started back and turned it into a single. Should have been an out. Jenks later saved JC on a shot to the gap in right with a LONG running catch.

Jenks looked awesome. Timing every pitch perfectly.

Krynzel walked all 3 times and stole a base. Nice.

Brad Nelson sure doesn't look like a baseball player. Not impressed in my first view.

Capuano looked just fine as did the rest of the pitchers except Kiesch who looked sloppy.

Iberran is very fast and looks to be a legit contact line drive hitter. I liked him alot.

Seeing Weeks got me really pumped. You just expect a bullet to come off his bat every time.

Cappellan throws hard but his curve is really good too. He will rack up just as many k's with number 2 as number 1.

Can't wait to get to the game tomorow and hopefully see Fielder and Lee.

Out of every player that we've got, Weeks has me the most excitied. Star waiting in the wings. I can't wait until we've got the likes of Fielder, Lee, Weeks, Jenkins, Hardy, Krynzel, and/or possibly Overbay all up at one time.

The turn of the tide. Things are looking up in Milwaukee.

This box score for the Brewer - A's game doesn't include Milwaukee batting lines. Until a new one is posted, this will have to do. Just listened to Prince Fielder's opposite field first-inning HR -- off lefty Dan Meyer -- sweet! I'll have to fast-forward to hear CF Charlie Fermaint's mound stint...

EDIT: Beat me to it, batman -- thanks!
