Long as he's in the game, where do you think Tommy Phelps fits in? From what I've read, he's had a very solid spring so far. If he keeps it up, should we carry both him and JDLR as lefty specialists?

I wouldn't say he was "only drafted" for his walks. His line in his last year of college was .320/.493/.566, with 11 HR and 69 BB in 219 AB's. I'd say he was drafted because he was a highly productive college player who fit the profile of what the A's were looking for.

Let's not forget that Jenks had a great day. 2 doubles and a couple very good plays in right. Jenks having a hot year behind Lee and Overbay is the best chance of a playoff spot for the Crew.

Hasegawa is a major league pitcher too, not a AA guy in to eat innings.

A nice offensive output for both halves of the SS, and tomorrow, I get to listen to Bob Uecker while doing chores etc. Sweet. It'll be quite nice to hear the radio boys after the winter.
-I used to have a neat-o signature, but it got erased.

Hey EDR, I hope you were listening to the Seattle game, your man Charlie Fermaint got an AB. Sadly, he went down looking, so the Fermaint-o-meter stands at .000.
