Mosquera with a nice RBI rip. He and Borders are battling it out for "old guy catcher who rips 20 year old pitchers in ST".

brettac, not sure Mosquera's age, but he gets down the line like a CF or SS, not a catcher

although I would have thought the pitcher moving into the field bats for the position player, not the DH. The way I'm reading the Rule is this:

Lee in Left hitting 4th, Kiesch pitching, Fielder DH batting 6th. Kiesch going into the game to play LF, so he enters playing LF, batting 6th. The new pitcher enters batting 4th. The DH is now out of play.

I believe that is a correct interpretation. At least that's the way I've always believed it works...

It seems like the Brewers score a ton of runs every time I have to miss a game this spring. Then again, they've been scoring a ton of runs almost EVERY game this spring.

Good to see Krynzel have two hits, although he did pick up a dreaded CS as well. Props to both Cruz's for going yard, and O had a great line today as well. JDLR's line is very impressive as well.

Hopefully JJ gets it into gear sooner than later and starts building a little confidence up at the plate. Still haven't heard a bad word about his D, though. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Quote:
If this were a regular season game, Davis probably would have pitched 4-5 more scoreless innings. Two innings is pretty hard to get worked up about.

Yeah while striking out nine, and hitting two home runs!
