Does "Enrique Cruz SALAMI TIME!!!" mean he's up with the bases loaded? He hit a grand slam? He's eating salami on the bench? How bout being a lil more informative in your post. Like the score? and situation? PLEASE!!!!!

Yeah, I'll get right on that.

rules question here. Kiesch is pitching. If he were to go out and play LF, the DH would still exist, right? I guess I've never thought of what happens when the person DH'd for goes into the game.

This is waaaaaaaay off topic, but apparently Monica Seles is now pitching for the Reds. Oh wait is that you Danny? We didn't recognize you under all that highlighted hair and stylish headband.

I'm not really sure how to post the image, but it's on the Reds official site. Check it out: REDS

Ok, well hopefully this one actually works

Enrique Cruz is holding his own defensively. A couple of great plays at short... he is almost on par with JJ Hardy there. We could have something interesting in a couple of years... Enrique could probably be at third base or second base in Milwaukee a couple of years from now.

Well, the person being DH'd for already IS in the game, but I know what you mean. I believe the DH is attached to a specific player, so Kiesch would have the DH still, and the new pitcher would have to bat.

Mosquera with a nice RBI rip. He and Borders are battling it out for "old guy catcher who rips 20 year old pitchers in ST".

EDIT: Obviously Reichert isn't 20, but I was speaking in generalities. Also, a lot of Brewers are having kids.

The DH is attached to a specific spot in the batting order. The pitcher doesn't have a spot in the order. All position players must have a spot in the order. If the pitcher assumes a position, he must bat.
