3/10/05 - Royals @ Brewers (Sheets), 2:00 CT, plus...

FYI - if Krynzel platoons with Clark that means that Dave would play a lot more since RHP out numner LHP in the league. Also, Brady kills RHP and struggles agasint LHP, so if the platoon were for offense, it wouldnt make sense.

sure am glad wynegars, dont take it too seriously approach is working.

Thought the point of the game was to make contact? man, WAY TOO MANY K's today. I cant stand strikeouts. You have ZERO chance of getting on base if you cant make contact.

I hate to hope that any brewer does bad, but if there was one that I would not mind playing badly it would be Durrington as he is an absolute waste. I would hate to see him called up this year because we may need an "emergency catcher" and a "fun australian" in the clubhouse. His brainfarts on the basepaths will hopefully knock some sense into the coaches.

Not a lot of Player of the Game nominees, huh?

[ You have ZERO chance of getting on base if you cant make contact. ]

Well, you can walk.... or you can take 1st on a passed ball on strike three!

-------

Hey brian. make that .5% chance of getting on base then.

Also, hard to take a walk if youre swinging and missing, or looking at strike three.

Thought Butchs approach this year was for guys to shorten up, and try to make contact with two strikes?

Nevermind. I just hate a lot of Ks., reminds me of every single brewer season for the past few years. All this talk of adding Lee and Miller is gonna make us such a great offensive lineup is going to be proven to be way off. I expect another below average offensive team this year.

Yeah, I know its only ST, but every years I hear, its only spring training, and the same habits I see in ST carry over to the season.

Yeah, I know too that I shouldnt get too carried away right now, but strikeouts just bother me, especially with runners on base. Your chances of driving someone in if you cant make contact, or even moving runners up are very very slim, good offensive teams do the little things, the brewers dont.
